Christ the Rock Ministries (CTRM) is a friendly and vibrant Christian church whose core values are the power of God in diversity. We guage the power by the weekly testimony service and our prayer meetings; and we measure the diversity with our eyes and our experience.

Children's Activities

On most Sundays there is a Children's Sunday School that takes place concurrently with the second half of the adult service.

Youth

Our very able youth generally meet together once a month upstairs and lead the church services  a number of times each year.

Some of our messages are available for mp3 streaming (see Media tab). After service free refreshments and fellowship usually follow.

Our leaders

Pastors David and Sandra French began CTRM in 2001. Pastor David has been involved in church leadership since 1989. He has been  active in gathering church leaders across Lewisham and has preached in many nations. He is a student of Biblical Hebrew and Greek and had a concurrent city career  from 1982-2005. Pastor Sandra leads the Women's and Teens Ministries and is an able preacher as well as being a  fully qualified counsellor and life coach. Together they have 3 adult children.

Deaconess Deon

Has been with CTRM from the very beginning. Deon manages the church accounts and finances. She is an accountant by profession. Deon is a fiery preacher, passionate worshipper and devoted mother.

Deacon Francis & Deaconess Rani

A very faithful and committed couple. Francis has been with the ministry since day 1 and Rani not so long after that by marriage. They are both able ministers and outside are highly ranked professionals.

Trustees Board 

Every member of our board of directors is a thought leader who has made significant contributions to our society. 
Each one brings a unique set of skills and expertise to our organisation. 

MEET OUR TEAM

Our team is clearly diverse reflecting London and our desire to have a church that reflects the diversity that is on earth and will be in heaven and the power that comes through unity in diversity. 4 of our 7 strong leadership team are women and 4 were born overseas.

Deacon & Deaconess Okonkwo



Deacon Francis  and his wife Deaconess Rani assist the ministry in multiple practical ways as well as supporting and assisting in the leadership of spiritual ministry.

Ola George

Ola is the worship leader leading a team of singers and musicians supported by a media team for sound, video and visuals.

Youth Leaders

These joint leaders come with years of experience at CTRM. One is a sports teacher and the other works in TV. They are relatively new in post so get set for some exciting new developments.
